CONTRACT SUMMARY

Roads 2000 has been selected to deliver upgrades to RAAF Base Pearce to support the introduction of the new Boeing P-8A Poseidon aircraft into service.

Located 35 kilometres north of Perth, RAAF Base Pearce will be an important Forward Operating Base for the P-8A Poseidon as it conducts maritime operations over the Indian and Southern Oceans.

The upgrade works includes the extension of runways, strengthening of taxiways and pavements and the provision of a new aircraft rinse facility.

Marmion Avenue & Hester Avenue Roundabout, Clarkson

Working in conjunction with the City of Wanneroo, Roads 2000 collaborated to deliver a proactive approach to reduce congestion.

The Marmion & Hester Ave Roundabout is a critical part of the road network to residents in the Northern suburbs.

Works took place at night under complex TMP instructions. The scope included;

Roundabout Rehabilitation, Bruce & Elizabeth St

Scope: Modified and widened the existing 4-way intersection to construct a roundabout.

Resurfaced approximately 1000m2 of residential pavement with 30mm thick of 10mm 75 blow dense grade asphalt, upgraded existing drainage components and installed new drainage infrastructure; installed kerbing, concrete footpath, faux paving and tactile pavers to crossings.

Anura Rathnayake – Operations Engineer – City of Stirling: ROW 29003/29002 has been constructed according to the plans provided by the city. The finished lane way was in accordance with the cities standards and specifications. Contractor Roads 2000 has completed the work within the given period of time with compliance to standards and requirements. Roads 2000 is highly recommendable for similar type of work.

Roads 2000 embarked on a project to cover all of its bulk storage bins.

The project was completed in July 2014. The shelters demonstrate how important it is to show environmental leadership among industries in Wangara and to go beyond the expectations of our environmental licence.
